YouCanTech’s mission is to make technology approachable and accessible for all kids.
We want to get rid of the idea that coding is for “wiz kids” like the nerdy super-powered hacker character in movies and TV. Our goal – you and us together – is to give them the opportunity to freely explore, create, and express themselves with technology.
YouCanTech participants have successfully pursued STEM careers and education
We have had a strong, long-standing relationship with the Charlotte Mecklenburg School District (CMS) since our founding and have also partnered with other reputable and fantastic organizations such as Charlotte Mecklenburg Libraries and Blacks In Technology – Charlotte Chapter.
